Markets, Socialism and A New Phrase...

I thought I had put this in here, but apparently didn't. My bad.

Fundamental problem in dealing with those who still believe in socialism, in the righteousness of unions, in the idea that government should run things.

Markets always punish those that think that they know better. The sooner that people realize this, the fewer mistakes will be made.



Unfortunately, this won't happen. It is simply outside their ken, their understanding of how the world works. Untold misery and deprivation are the result and are always the result until markets correct the errors of their ways. Socialists of all colors and beliefs simply can't comprehend this.


You can lead a Socialist to Markets, but you can't make them think.
